Chapter 3 – The Library of Secrets

Raat ka andhera Ashora ke shahar par chipka hua tha.

Street lamps ke neeche Riven khamoshi me chal raha tha, uski aankhen usual tarah bilkul calm aur blank.

Uske andar kuch aisa tha jo use khud bhi nahi samajh pa raha tha.

Aaj usne decide kiya tha ki apni asal truth dhundhega —

chahe wo sach kitna bhi dark kyu na ho.

Wo city ki sabse badi aur purani library me ghus gaya.

Yeh library sirf kuch logon ko pata thi,

aur yaha forbidden texts aur ancient relics rakhe gaye the.

Andhera itna gehra tha ki bas lanterns ki halki si roshni hi dikhti thi.

Riven bookshelf se kitab nikalta raha,

par usse kuch bhi aisa nahi mil raha tha jo uske questions ka jawab de.

Phir ek purana, dhool se dhaka leather-bound book uski nazar me aaya.

Us par strange symbols bane the,

aur center me ek shabd likha tha —

"ABYSS."

Riven ne dheere se cover par apni ungli phirayi.

Book ke pehle page par likha tha:

"Abyss — Ashora ke sabse purane yug ka shabd.

Iska arth hai 'The Endless Dark'.

Abyss koi jagah nahi, balki ek shakti hai jo apni bhook se sab kuch nigalti hai."

Uske niche ek drawing thi —

ek ancient mark, jaise teen teer ek dusre me ghus rahe ho,

aur beech me khoon ka daag.

"Jab yeh symbol, Mark of Abyss, Ashora me dubara dikhega,

tab darkness ke gate khulenge aur duniya par wohi reign karega."

Riven ke dil ki dhadkan tez ho gayi.

Usne dheere se fufusuraya, "Mark of Abyss…"

Tabhi usne halki si aahat suni.

Riven ke neck ke paas se thandi hawa ka jhonka gaya.

Woh palta, par wahan koi nahi tha.

Phir usne library ke dusre end me Kael Veyron ka silhouette dekha.

Kael ke haath me wahi kitab thi, par uska chehra puri tarah shadow me chhupa hua.

"Tumhe ye nahi dekhni chahiye thi, Riven,"

Kael ki awaaz bilkul cold thi, jaise wo directly uske mind me goonj rahi ho.

Usne Riven ke haath se book kheench li,

aur puri library ke lanterns purple flame me jal uthe.

Riven ek step bhi aage nahi badha —

uske chehre par fear ka ek bhi sign nahi tha, bas woh usual blank calmness thi.

Meanwhile, Arin – Jungle

Dusri taraf, Arin ab bhi us jungle me gaya jaha kal usne Riven ko dekha tha.

Uske pair kaanp rahe the, par uske mann me ek hi cheez thi —

"Mujhe Riven ka sach jana hi hoga."

Wo jungle ke deeper parts me gaya aur dekha ke mitti par strange black symbols bane hue hain.

Wo symbols wohi lag rahe the jo Riven ke bag me dekhi kitabein me bane hote hain.

Arin ka dil zor se dhadakne laga.

Tabhi usne peeche kuch red glowing eyes dekhi.

Ek pair ke liye bas wo aankhen chamki…

aur phir poori tarah se gayab ho gayi jaise wahan kuch kabhi tha hi nahi.

Arin piche ghoom ke cheekhta hai, par jungle bilkul chup hai.

Wo bas ek baat samajh gaya —

"Yeh kuch normal nahi hai. Yeh Riven se juda hua hai."

Chapter 3 ends — Riven and Kael’s clash begins, Arin witnesses horror.
